Jason leads Men’s Ministry at New Crossing. His passion is to bring repentant men to the cross and let them experience the mercy and grace of Christ. His testimony speaks into the need for men to live a rigorously honest life, as they fight the good fight of faith and champion the gospel message into their homes, work, and church.
“And after you have suffered a little while, the God of all grace, who has called you to his eternal glory in Christ, will himself restore, confirm, strengthen, and establish you.” (1 Peter 5:10)
Jason served in the United State Marine Corps and has been a high school teacher for the past two decades. Camping, fishing, golfing, hunting, and hiking are a few of his outdoor hobbies. Jason and his wife raised two boys into men and have been members of New Crossing for the past 14 years.
“The glory of God is man fully alive.” (St. Irenaeus)
Paul’s fully alive when he’s building friendships & encouraging others. He’s a “Word guy,” with spiritual gifts of teaching, exhortation & knowledge that comfort, counsel, and heal those he comes alongside.
He’s also a “word guy”–a former middle & high school English teacher who still enjoys writing, editing, & public speaking. As a charter member of NCC who has served in nearly every ministry–including Elder–he is particularly passionate about missions & bringing hope & encouragement to marginalized people. You’ll also see him on the prayer team once a month praying with Pastor Craig before the service and with anyone else after the service.
Clark and his wife Julie have been part of NCC since the early ’90s. They live in Cottage Grove with their 2 sons, Josh (18) and Timmy (6).
Among Clark’s passions are worship, scripture, missions, testimony, redemption, unity and the abundant life that Jesus offers to all in John 10:10. His favorite number is 16 (just ask him 🙂 and his favorite color is blue – no, no, no RED!!!- which might tell you what his favorite movie is.
