Request Prayer Appointment

New Crossing Church loves to pray for people!  We believe in the power of prayer and the Holy Spirit ministering to us through prayer.  We offer a prayer team at the end of our services for anyone who has a prayer need.  Our pastors are available during the week by appointment.  We have an additional prayer team made up of trained men and women who are willing to meet with you outside of services for personal prayer ministry.  Sometimes we struggle with things and as much as we pray privately, we can benefit from having others come pray for and with us (James 5:16).

Our team has been trained in different types of prayer to help you personally meet with your Father in Heaven who loves you.  Jesus came to not just bring forgiveness, but freedom from prisons that are created by sin, wounds, and lies. When we pray in the power of His Spirit, we can find freedom from darkness and healing for our souls.  We keep in strict confidence anything that is shared during these prayer times.

In a personal prayer session, you can expect to:

  • feel safe and experience a deeper relationship with God the Father, Son and Holy Spirit.
  • learn to hear from God for yourself!
  • be cared for in a way that is gentle and unique to each individual.
  • experience a time with God that is distinct and different from counseling or therapy.
  • be encouraged, comforted and strengthened.

During a personal prayer time:

  • We purposefully partner with Father, Son and Holy Spirit to uncover the source of people’s wounds and hurts.
  • We intentionally find the lies that have negatively impacted people’s lives.
  • We deliberately help people walk towards forgiveness to open up and heal their heart.
  • We purposely ask God to replace lies with truth to help people embrace hope and a life free from fear, anxiety and bondage.

Our Personal Prayer Teams are:

  • Trained- They have received in-depth prayer training from various sources and in leading others in prayer.
  • Intentional- They care about people’s healing and freedom, knowing Christ is the key to both.
  • Dedicated- They partner with God to bring freedom to people in Mind, Body and Soul.
  • Non-Judgmental- They focus on people’s hope and future, their destiny and who God created them to be.
  • Faithful- they have a relationship with and are devoted to God.

Types of issues that cause roadblocks in our relationship with God that may be healed through personal prayer may include:

  • Fear of rejection, judgment, abandonment, failure, or loss of control.
  • Anxiety due to abuse, betrayal, trauma, or bullying.
  • Worthlessness due to painful relationships with family or friends.
  • Anger at various people or circumstances.
  • Unforgiveness or bitterness due to things we have experienced.

Cost:  We do appreciate thanksgiving offerings for those who are giving their time to come and pray for you.  This is not required, but if you are able to give an offering it will go towards continued training for the team! We accept cash or checks at the time of appointment.
