This message is a call to sing again after great troubles and discouragement.  Or in different words it is a command to hope again in was lost.  Israel had turned away from God and pursued their own dreams without God.  Life imploded on them and they lost everything.  Now thru God’s help he delivered them from their slavery and was commanding them to sing again for he would restore what they lost due to their sin. We need to allow the afflictions in our lives to refine us so that we reflect more and more of God’s glory to each other, to the world and back to him.
