I have been coming to New Crossing Church since 2001 and was called to be an Elder in 2003. I love seeing God bring people to a relationship with Christ and then seeing their lives being transformed by the gospel. I believe that life change and transformation happens through attending and serving the local church corporately and being part of a life group or small group. That is how Christ changed me through a relationship with him and being committed to a small group that I attended on a regular basis. Life change happens in community, serving with others and not alone!
My spiritual journey started in college when a friend shared with me that God loves me and wanted a relationship w/me. I didn’t have to earn salvation by trying to be a good person. Then years later my life w/Christ grew so much with a group of single men from the local church who loved and challenged me to trust and grow in who I am in Christ and with all areas of life.
I was born in the Chicago area and grew up in the Midwest. I have a bachelor’s degree from UW-Whitewater.
My wife and I have been married for 22 years and have two children. I love sports (playing, watching, coaching basketball) water sport activities, enjoy reading and traveling.
